Woflenstein Review + Update

After playing Wolfenstein for a good amount of time, I went through two play-through’s. Honestly? I would rate the game a 4 of 5, due to a two issues. The first, too short of a story. Though the game runs beautifully, it had a short  and compelling story. I felt that if it was longer, it could expand even further to the point of DLC release or even a sequel continuation of The New Order. The second, few bugs and glitches that occur to often. Thought the game is attempting to be in a realistic setting, but I feel that being shot my allied AI is very annoying. Other than that, game was very suspenseful and I deeply enjoyed myself. On another note, the Doom Beta will excite me the most and can’t wait for Bethseda’s next move with games like The Elder Scrolls, Fallout, and more.

Halo 2 Vista Review

So obviously it’s 2014 and supposedly Microsoft said that the servers would shut down in summer of 2013 for Halo 2 Vista.  I had the good fortune of being able to purchase the game, play online, and beat the campaign. Again… It does not run as good as I want on my PC. However, it’s still very fun to play. I found Easter Egg, Scarab Gun and blew up everything in my path. It was amazing to finally be able to use such a weapon.  Aside from that, I found multiplayer was difficult to do anything in. There were less than 50 players, and sometimes I couldn’t even connect to the damn server. I honestly really good at Halo, but Halo 2? I couldn’t beat the other players, they were always about 6 kills ahead of me. It’s usually the other way around, but that’s in Halo; Reach, Halo 3, and Halo 4. Anyway, the online experience was “meh” as in like above 5 out of 10. The game itself must be around 8 to 10.  A weird thing though is that the achievements were a little off. Complete the campaign on Normal Difficulty, worth 100g. There rest are 10, 20, 30, and 50 gamer score for any other in-game achievement. Other than that, the game is fun, multiplayer is a bit different, and I frankly can’t stop playing in the past with this great game.

Wolfenstein: The New Order + and More!!!

As we conclude school here at North America in Southern California, we start making time for all good causes. Me for example, I’ve stopped playing Video Games during the week until I’m out of school. However, Bethseda’s new Wolfenstein the New Order, will be released May 20th, 2014. The game looks very fun and I think the trailer was very cool. Also, the soccer play getting a “red card” and instead of getting out of the game. He was shot in the face by what appears to be a Luger. In other news, the Doom Beta said to come with the pre-order of the game will not be available for “last gen” consoles such as Xbox 360 and PS3. That’s right, you read correctly, the game beta is for only Xbox One, PS4, and PC. Which I don’t think makes sense because one of their games is coming out without a beta. But, it is available for Xbox 360/PS3 gamers. So, I will leave you as the individual to use this information however you want.

Taking a Step Back

I’ve probably pondered this for a long time with out actually saying or doing anything at all. What is this “thing”? Well back in 2012, February 22nd, the PS Vita was released. Now, this isn’t the first mobile device we’ve seen. There was Game boy Color, Game boy Advance, Nintendo Ds and all those Nintendo products. There are also iPhones and other small mobile devices. PS Vita however, brought the intense magnitude of a gaming console. PS Vita was a huge success and inspired Nvidia to create their “Shield” mobile device. Look at where they’re at with that thing?!?!?

Now, my question is, where is Microsoft’s Mobile Device? I once cared for kinect, but when it had little of use, I decided to no longer care for it. Which is another reason why I still refuse to purchase an Xbox One. Anyway, PC Laptops are cool, but the real question is Microsoft capable and willing to actually create a Mobile gaming device with the same strength of the Xbox One? I mean it’s been quite some time, and it seems as if Microsoft is only concerned with their new modeled Xbox One and their little camera. Great games should be mobile and not only on Console. Examples: Halo. Halo use to be able to be on Xbox and PC. Now since the release of Halo 3, there is no PC version available. So do what you will with this info, just know that Microsoft is behind in the race of Entertainment and currently losing the console war.

The Amount of BS That Just Happened

Turns out my new Laptop, which I’ve updated several times, can’t work with my Capture Card. Turns out my PC can’t handle recording, but editing yes. Another note to add, my Windows XP(which can barely hold on to playing Halo CE). It doesn’t even have a good processor compared to my laptop. Someone please explain how the hell that works??? Anyway, the Montage will go as planned, however it will be delayed and posted this weekend on my Youtube account. Same thing will happen to the Machinima Projects and anything on the lines of that. News came from Machinima’s Inside Gaming, reported that China will now start implementing restrictions to specific video game genres and types. Here are few of rules that they have set up:

*No Violence of any sort

*No Alcohol or drug references

*No game that threatens China’s way of life/tradition/daily life/ etc.

Majority of games include Violence, even children intended games such as Minecraft, Lego Star Wars(Any Lego Game), Kirby, Mario, and many more. There are a few games that are good that aren’t violent. However, games like CoD/BF/and Halo are the pinnacle of gaming. Other games like Skyrim, Diablo, and Mortal Kombat are included to this list. There are more, but these are some of the more recognizable games. Literally could be the end of gaming for China.

Inside Gaming also included, that the Xbox One will be released in the Fall of 2014 for Gamers of Japan… Strange, but I always thought they got the new tech before we did.

Play-through, Walk-through, and… Do I have to hold your Hand?

These next few weeks will be amazing, walk-through and play-through’s will be releasing from now on. Every Monday and Friday. If an episode is delayed it’s because we need more time editing and finishing up the final product. This week we will be premiering Halo 2 and Metro Last Light. We are still figuring out the Special Effects, Equipment, and our schedules. In other news, I’ve recently uploaded a video of some Halo: Reach game play with some buds. Unfortunately, our game didn’t go as smoothly as we wanted it to be. A few games before the video displays, a guy threatened me and my friends that he would boot our internet offline. We thought it was a simple bluff, we ignored and he carried on with his devious plan. His gamer tag is “Final Breath” and he apparently has a degree in Networking and Internet stuff.  Here is the video if you’d to take a look.

TITAN’s and SPARTAN’s!?!?!!

I was asked(being a big Halo fan) which would win in one on one deathmatch. The Spartan of the UNSC or the Titan produced by Hammond Factories and Robotics .The answer is simple, Spartans. Why? Spartans are more agile making them harder targets. Their shields aren’t the best, but still have an amazing durability and faster recharge than that of a Titan. I will upload a video with gameplay of both games and how each armor system’s work. Not much information is given about when Titans were in production with Hammond Factories. However, we know that Spartans were secretly in development in the earliest years of the first human-covenant war.

About 500 years from now is when Spartans were produced and used to take down insurrectionists of the UNSC. Until the Covenant appeared, then all of the UNSC’s resources when directly to research and towards the war with the Covenant. Titan’s were built for what Hammond believes “a safer Frontier “. In this case, the colonist had to live under the IMC and the Militia thought that was bad. Again, not much information is given to the community as to when the game itself is set and questions arise such as, “How the hell did the Militia get so many Titans?”. In the game Hammond is the factory builder of the Titans and Spectre’s. So, this leaves a number of theories for that whole question. “Did Hammond sell the Titan’s to the Militia?”, ” Where the Titan’s stolen?”, “Is there another mass producer of Titan’s besides Hammond’s factories?”, and finally, “How did the Militia even get the amount of ships that they have in the game?”.

Now back to the whole Spartan vs Titan: Spartans have years of training and experience in fighting. If a contact scenario occurred between a Spartan and a Pilot with his Titan. It would be no different than a Spartan taking down two pairs of hunters. Titans have denser armor and spartans weapons aren’t the greatest either. The weapons a Spartan can use on a head to head battle with a Titan are a Spartan laser, Rocket Launcher, Grenade Launcher, and a Sniper Rifle. These weapons have immense power and when used to the maximum of skill, can be an unstoppable force.

Titans of course could just attempt to squeeze the life of a Spartan, but lets not forget that it’s the pilot mostly in control. Spartan vs Pilot, Spartan would win. I don’t think I need to explain why. But the more interesting battle is Spartan vs Titan. I will leave it up to the Gaming Community to answer this question. My opinion is my own, ultimately we will have to wait for Respwan Entertainment to release more info on the Titanfall story.

 

 

TitanFall Xbox 360 Review

I recently got the new TitanFall for the Xbox 360. Though the game was released a month ago for Xbox One and PC. Most gamers who can’t afford a awesome gaming PC or a “current” gen-consoles. I’ve played this game for about a solid 9 hours(not in a row) and  have had a bunch of fun. Between hanging out with my friends and killing everything is a blast. Not many games feature an AI opponent accompanied with the actual players. I myself found the campaign interesting and full of lots fun. The game features all types of fun games including “Last Titan Standing” and “Pilot Hunter”. Even including classic game-types such as “Capture the Flag”, “Hardpoint Domination”, and “Attrition”(TDM). This game definitely I would recommend to both Hardcore gamers and Passive gamers. This game welcomes both n00bs and Competitive experienced players.

Recently, I played with a “GEN”-Nine player, which is really confusing because the game just came out a week ago. In game, he wasn’t bad, but at the way he was playing. He should not be at that rank. My friend is GEN 4 and is a mix of Passive and Hardcore. The only problems I’ve faced with the game is the “HD OPTIMIZING” load thingy. It appears about once every day and takes a bit to load and start up the game. Then, there are little things in the game that bother me. For example, I was capturing an objective and was confronted by an IMC Grunt. I shot a whole clip into the AI and he just took it. Then, he returns the favor and lights me up before I have time to even react. But, in the end it wasn’t that big of a deal since it has only happened once. I guess what the Respawn Dev Team can change is the rate of leveling up. By the way, a “Gen” is similar to the prestige system as CoD. Not exactly the same, there are specific challenges a Pilot(Player) must complete before moving up to the next Generation. This includes achieving level Rank 50. The campaign was not bad, nor was it any good either. There was some dramatization, but hardly any cinematics/cut scenes. Weapons all have their benefits and their liabilities.

UPDATE! UPDATE! UPDATE! Week 1

I’ve noticed something really wrong with my gameplay and capture card! The audio does not match with the video. For example, I shoot a gun at someone and announcer says “One Kill to Win”. Except, the gun shoots 10-15 seconds later after I fired and the announcer is also really off. This means one of two things! My PC needs a fix up. Or I just buy/make a new PC. This problem usually only occur when the PC itself is handling to much or the video was recorded to long. For these reasons I have to postpone major projects and I have to use a friends computer. Other than that I will still be working and I hope you guys stick around.

2k Australia is developing the next Borderlands! Here’s what they’ve released as of now. ***PLEASE note: These can change at any time! As the players we can choose from “Athena”, a character introduced in the DLC “General KNOXX’s Secret Armory” of the first Borderlands.  We also have “Winhelm”, a cyborg-terminator acting dude from Borderlands 2. ****SPOILER AHEAD***, he try’s to kill you in the story of the second game. Next, is a mystery character that we don’t know to much about and if you try going on the borderland wiki, her/his name doesn’t appear in anything, the character is “Nisha”. AND finally our loveable WUB Master…. “CLAP-TRAP”. Yes we can finally play as the little f***er and have some fun with the gang. On another note, don’t attempt to go up stairs in the game…

We’ve also been told(We, as in the gaming community) that the game is a prequel and set after the events of the first borderlands and before borderlands 2. Another note is that the title of is called “Borderlands The Prequel”. YAY! World scenario, the players are set at what appears to be the moon of Pandora and other little substations. Basically, when Jack and Hyperion are rising to power and the giant “H” station of death is under construction. One more thing, the next borderlands will not be available to Xbox One and PS4. The game is for Xbox 360, PC(maybe, I don’t know for sure), and Playstation 3.That’s it for now, happy gaming and blogging.

Halo 4 Montage

I already spoke about this not too long ago, but I am now working on Chucky14’s Halo 4 Montage. It will be released between now and the 25th of April. Am I going for an amazing montage? Yes, I am. I need to work with some tinkering with my editing software and need time to record game play and perform the actual cuts/editing. I will publish a new post with the actual video and I hope you guys will enjoy it when I release it :).

Halo 2 Anniversary has been confirmed and will be released around November of 2014. YAY! Halo 5(Halo Xbox One, or whatever it’s going to be called) beta rumored to come with the purchase of the Halo 2. Or pre-order. I forget at times :3. More videos will be released as we continue through 2014.
